- Use the "Add Language/URL Pair" button to add more variations. Use the "X" button to remove a pair.
- Optionally, enter a Default/Fallback URL for users whose language/region doesn't match any specified tags (using `x-default`).
- The necessary `` tags will be generated automatically below.
- Click "Copy Tags" and paste the generated tags into the `` section of **all** the specified page versions.
Important: Hreflang tags must be reciprocal – each language version must link to all other versions (including itself).
Why Use Hreflang Tags?
- International SEO: Helps search engines like Google understand the language and regional targeting of your pages.
- Correct Language Version: Ensures users are directed to the most appropriate version of your page based on their language and location.
- Avoid Duplicate Content Issues: Signals to search engines that pages with similar content in different languages are alternate versions, not duplicates.
